The Global Harmonized System (GHS) has resulted in changes the type of, and quality, of information presented on Safety Data Sheets (formerly called Material Safety Data Sheets). These revised standards require companies that market chemical products internationally must revise Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) to meet these standards. In an ever more global economy, companies must comply with rules established in other countries, if their products are to be freely distributed without problems.
ARC Enterprises started revising and developing newly formatted SDSs in 2013, and works with several clients to comply with GHS. Companies that also market products in European (EC) have additional requirements than just GHS, and must comply with EC standards and Directives.
Contact ARC Enterprises to discuss your product SDS’s and with our strengths in chemical safety and knowledge of the new Directives and rules we can help meet your company’s needs.
